Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to maintain the property, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, comfortable guest experience. This hands-on role performs preventative maintenance and responds to requests across the hotel.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and upholding high safety and appearance standards. Flexible schedule includes potential weekend and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call situations.
• Technical certifications or trade licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across the hotel per schedules and brand standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests with professional guest service.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of guest rooms, corridors, meeting spaces, and exterior areas.
• Monitor mechanical equipment, boilers, HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and hotel operational standards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and supplies.
• Assist with after-hours maintenance and emergencies as required.
• Support additional projects and responsibilities from hotel leadership.
