Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to join our hotel operations team. This hands-on role maintains the hotel's physical property, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, comfortable, and exceptional experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, and taking pride in maintaining high standards of safety, appearance, and functionality throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to hotel schedules and brand standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests while providing professional guest service.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of guest rooms, hallways, meeting spaces, exterior areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, lighting, appliances, and other building systems.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Ensure OSHA safety guidelines and hotel standards are followed.
