Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold building systems and the hotel envelope, ensuring guest safety and comfort. You will perform preventative maintenance and assist on major repairs, with responsibilities spanning electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry).
• Hotel or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and communicate progress clearly.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders for hotel systems.
• Inspect electrical systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with major repairs of HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
• Service the hotel pool and maintain chemical levels.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and refurbish furniture in guest rooms.
• Move furniture as required and respond courteously to guest requests.
