Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Scottsdale property is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventative and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, FF&E, and the hotel’s facilities. You will work in a 24/7 operation, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, pool systems, and building exteriors, while ensuring safety, proper records, and adherence to policies.

Candidates should have knowledge across trades, be able to read and follow instructions, and maintain a neat

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades, including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Be willing and able to comply with hotel policies including appearance and grooming, safety, security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance assignments on a schedule basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains the building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, and gardening).
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
