Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Baltimore is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to perform general maintenance and ensure safety standards across the property. You will maintain the building, equipment and grounds, and complete preventive maintenance to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Responsibilities include handling minor work orders, refurbishing furniture, maintaining front areas, and assisting with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general building maintenance and repair experience.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• High school diploma or related vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete minor work orders (ceiling tiles, lighting, plumbing, fixtures).
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment readiness for next-day work.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of facilities and grounds.
• Respond to guest questions and assist with other duties as assigned.
