Job summary

HHM Hotels seeks an on-site Engineer at our Annapolis-area property to perform preventative and repair maintenance, ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm, guest-oriented service.

The role covers room inspections, fixture installation, electrical and plumbing tasks, and repairs across the property. It requires a high school diploma or trade training and prior maintenance experience. Growth paths lead to supervisor roles within HHM Hotels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required (trade school preferred).
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain and review maintenance records.
• Comply with local, state and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and assist during peak check-in/out periods.
