Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on proactive upkeep of hotel facilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry to ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will oversee grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, respond to maintenance orders promptly, and work with a collaborative team to uphold SHG's service culture and high standards across our properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel maintenance; 3+ years preferred.
• 1 year of college or trade school in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
