Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily operations across hotel properties.

The ideal candidate possesses HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge, is hands-on, and can prioritize guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel setting. SHG offers growth opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry knowledge required or preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills expected.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
