Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will oversee the upkeep of hotel grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry, with experience in a hotel maintenance setting preferred. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to respond

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines preferred
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
