Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Santa Fe, NM, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead hands-on maintenance across the property. You will inspect and repair building systems, manage preventative maintenance, and respond to work orders promptly to keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, plus basic math and strong communication.

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
