Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering department and ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel property. You will manage maintenance programs, oversee building systems, and develop engineering staff to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in hotel engineering, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while controlling department expenses.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering or facilities teams.
• Technical proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Experience running preventative maintenance programs and capital projects.
• Ability to prepare and manage department budgets and control expenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop Engineering staff focusing on safety and teamwork.
• Oversee daily Engineering operations and maintenance scheduling.
• Develop short- and long-term plans to protect hotel assets.
• Manage life safety systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
