Job summary

AC Hotel by Marriott in Austin, TX is seeking a Line Cook to join our growing Food and Beverage team. You will prepare food for two hotel outlets, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure breakfast and dinner service meets our standards, with precise execution for banquet events.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Ability to follow recipes and standards.
• Comfort in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
