Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Prep role to prepare food consistently and support kitchen operations at our Orlando property. You will follow recipe cards, ensure proper portions, and assist with setup and maintenance of kitchen stations.

The role requires dexterity, physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs, and reliable communication with the team. Prior hotel experience is preferred and regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs on shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time without over preparing.
• Rotate and store perishables per HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Assist in maintaining buffet and pars for shift use.
• Set up plans to control food cost and waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely.
• Be available to work regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
