Must have ServSafe and Food Handler certifications and at least 6 months of experience in a high-volume hotel kitchen. Responsibilities include managing prep, rotating perishables, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with cost controls to minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start food items prepared ahead of time without over preparing.

• Monitor pars and prepare for shift needs; note any shortages.
• Return unused items to storage and cover/date perishables.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment including fryers, broilers, stoves, and ovens.
