Job summary

The Emily Hotel, part of Onni, is seeking a dedicated Cook 1 to prepare items to spec, plate with care, and maintain clean, safe kitchens. You will assist with prep, manage station stock, and support the Chef for daily service.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, using grills, fryers, steamers, ovens, and ensuring timely service during peak hours. Eligibility includes culinary training or restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• Culinary arts education preferred.
• Experience as a line cook in a hotel or similar setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep work for the next shift.
• Maintain inventory of needed supplies at par level.
• Follow safety/sanitation procedures in handling food/equipment.
• Prepare and portion menu items using standard recipes and equipment.
• Assist in special functions or catered events as needed.
