Job summary

One Ocean Resort & Spa is seeking a full-time Line Cook to prepare menu items according to recipes and yield guides. You will review assignments with the Sous Chef, start prep for the day’s menu, and assist on all stations throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include setting up work stations, breaking them down at day’s end, maintaining proper storage, and following health guidelines. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required; teamwork and good work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Willing to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Review assignments with Sous Chef/Station Cook I and plan for anticipated business levels.
• Start prep work for the day’s menu and assist Line Cooks on the line.
• Set up and break down stations; complete closing duties at end of shift.
• Maintain proper storage procedures and follow health guidelines.
