Job summary

Midnight Auteur is seeking a capable Cook I to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will prepare dishes, maintain mise en place, and contribute to a seamless service with precision and care.

You will work across grills, sautés, and other stations, uphold food safety standards, and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve flavor and presentation. Strong communication and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional kitchen experience in fine dining or high-volume settings.
• Solid cooking techniques, flavor balance, and food safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Turn on/off all equipment and prep stations before and after service.
• Follow recipes exactly to meet par levels and ensure consistency.
