Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Previous culinary, restaurant, banquet, or high-volume food preparation experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes, production standards, portion controls, and presentation expectations.
• Review pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, and set up stations before service.
• Maintain assigned workstation in a clean, organized, sanitary condition throughout the shift.
• Operate and clean culinary equipment including fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, mixers, slicers, ovens and steam tables.
• Follow sanitation, food handling, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with culinary leadership and team members to support timely service.
