Job summary

Peachtree Group, for the AC Hotel McKinney, seeks a Hotel Houseperson to ensure guest requests are handled promptly and to identify maintenance needs in public areas or guest rooms. The role supports housekeeping and cleanliness across the property.

Responsibilities include receiving linen supplies, maintaining carts, removing trash, patrolling floors at shift start and end, collecting newspapers and bags, and refilling linen par stocks on floor pantries to keep operations smooth.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Maintain guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
• Receive linen supplies from floor shoots and place on carts.
• Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill par stock on each floor pantry.

Job description

As Houseperson for the AC Hotel McKinney, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
