Residence Inn Salem, operated by Highgate Hotels, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to coordinate housekeeping activities across assigned sections and to cover Housekeeping Manager responsibilities when needed.

The role requires overseeing daily assignments, maintaining records, training staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction. It may include cleaning duties during peak times and biannual project oversight.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect Room Attendant performance daily to meet standards.
• In absence of manager, inspect VIP rooms and coordinate with Front Office.
• Oversee end-of-day floor closures and restock carts.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and submit to Housekeeping Office on time.
• Manage key control and Lost and Found items per standards.
• Monitor cleanliness of carts, linen closets, stairways and landings.
• Assign daily duties and ensure teams carry work assignments.
• Keep pager/radio active for communication with Front Office/Engineering.
• Report progress of out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager; initiate repairs/order work orders.
• Assist with training Housekeeping staff; may clean rooms when needed.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually and overall guest satisfaction.
