Residence Inn Deptford, operated by Highgate Hotels, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations at the Deptford, NJ location. You will supervise Room Attendants, maintain records, and ensure VIP rooms are handled in the manager’s absence.

The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, with responsibilities including training, safety, and quality control on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect Room Attendant’s work performance daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• Oversee VIP room inspections when the Housekeeping Manager is absent.
• Oversee the closing of floors and restocking of carts.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and sign off for Housekeeping Office.
• Maintain key control.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Monitor cleanliness of Room Attendants’ carts and linen closets.
• Oversee daily assignment of duties to staff.
• Carry active pager/radio to stay in contact with Front Office/Engineering.
• Report progress of out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager.
• Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through until completion.
• Assist with training of housekeeping staff.
• May be required to clean rooms as needed.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
