Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Guest Room Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations, train staff, and ensure rooms are cleaned to company standards. You will set schedules, cover gaps, and maintain a safe, guest‑focused environment.

Your role includes inspecting rooms, coordinating with the General Manager, and upholding service levels across all guest areas. Prior housekeeping supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple staff efficiently.
• Strong time management and scheduling skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping SOPs and techniques.
• Clear instructions and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret reports and internal hotel information.
• Proficiency in communicating with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff per SOPs.
• Schedule housekeeping staff according to needs.
• Ensure rooms meet company standards before selling.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality.
• Maintain safe, healthy work environment following procedures.
• Fill in for absent team members as needed.
• Notify GM of safety issues and guest concerns.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with GM before end of shift.
