Job summary

Residence Inn Boston Concord, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and uphold brand standards for cleanliness and guest service.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to drive guest satisfaction while developing our associates. This on-site role reports to the General Manager and requires the ability to manage schedules, training, and inventory with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of housekeeping or related hotel experience.
• Brand experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure standards and guest expectations are met.
• Recruit, interview, and hire associates for the Housekeeping department.
• Develop specific departmental goals and organize workload to get work done.
• Drive ongoing associate engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Maintain open relationships with team members to ensure dignity and respect.
• Manage inventory and par levels for supplies and uniforms.
• Supervise staffing to meet guest services and financial objectives.
• Adhere to brand cleanliness standards for rooms and public spaces.
• Provide support to the Hotel General Manager.
• Inspect property daily for cleanliness, safety, and service quality.
• Train new hires and onboarding of new associates.
