Job summary

Friendwell Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector to oversee cleanliness and presentation of the property, lead room attendants, and maintain high hotel standards. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and collaborate with Front Office to manage room status and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications include 3 years of housekeeping experience, strong English communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to train staff while ensuring service excellence across all areas

Qualifications

• Three years of housekeeping room attendant experience or equivalent.
• English communication skills are required.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to meet appearance standards and present yourself professionally.
• Good guest communication and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms to ensure a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Train room attendants to complete daily tasks accurately and on time.
• Inspect housekeeping carts and closets for proper stocking.
• Delegate tasks to houseporter to maintain cleanliness of trash chute rooms.
• Keep hotel hallways, stairwells, and elevators clean (vacuum/carpet extraction).
• Support room attendants by cleaning and resetting guest rooms as needed.
• Communicate with Front Office about delays or issues affecting room status.
• Complete work orders and ensure rooms are not released to inventory until addressed.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures for the housekeeping department.
• Support Executive Housekeeper with incentives and programs to boost morale.
• Help ensure guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed brand benchmarks.
• Perform other duties as requested and participate in new-hire training.
