Friendwell Group is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Attendant to clean rooms, hallways, and restrooms, and to keep public areas spotless. You will handle linen disposal, replenish supplies, and assist with guest requests while following safety and dress-code guidelines.

The role requires able-bodied work during an eight-hour shift, good English communication, and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience desirable.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must have the ability to clean rooms during an eight-hour working day.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to meet standards of appearance.
• Can communicate well with guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Wash walls and ceiling, moves furniture and turn mattress.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floor.
• Dusts and polishes metalwork.
• Collect soiled linen for laundering.
• Remove trash collected by room attendants.
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to guest rooms on request.
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry.
• Help the room boys / house maids with heavy lifting during deep cleaning.
• Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner.
