Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years housekeeping experience.
• Preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity, including some supervisory training/experience.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the work of room and public area attendants to ensure quality and service.
• Assist with scheduling and room assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Monitor performance and recommend disciplinary action in accordance with company rules and policies.
• Ensure staff is trained and has tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Inspect rooms and areas for cleanliness and repair; instruct on corrective action.
• Manage storage rooms, carts, supplies, and log books as needed.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Control expenses and minimize waste across housekeeping.
• Complete closing duties and paperwork; coordinate with other departments.
• May perform housekeeping duties or assist with deep cleaning and other duties.
