This role supports staff training, inspections, supply control, and efficient departmental operations while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.# JOB DESCRIPTION**Job Title**: Housekeeping Supervisor **Departments:** Housekeeping **Supervision Exercised:** Room Attendants, House Attendants, Laundry Attendants**Supervision Received:** Housekeeping Manager/ Executive Housekeeper / General Manager**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS****Education*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.**Experience*** Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.* Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.* Experience with housekeeping software or PMS systems (HotSOS, OnQ, Opera, etc.) a plus.**Skills & Knowledge*** Strong attention to detail and quality standards.* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.* Strong organizational and time management abilities.* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and chemical handling.* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.**Job Duties & Responsibilities*** Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.* Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.* Assist with training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.* Ensure carts, closets, and supply rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.* Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally and promptly.* Report maintenance concerns and ensure timely follow-up.* Monitor productivity and assist with scheduling and labor management.* Maintain accurate records of inspections, assignments, and supply usage.* Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
