Job summary

Hyatt Place Sterling/Dulles Airport-North is seeking a Hotel Host to deliver high-quality guest service and create a welcoming, home-like experience. You will staff the Hotel Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room, and TV den, handling guest check-in/out and supporting meeting room service.

The role requires customer service experience, strong English communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with 18+ age and schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a hotel or related field is required.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced guest-interaction environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out.
• Maintain a clean, inviting hotel environment including common areas.

This position is responsible for the complete guest experience; to include the Hotel Host Stand, the Bakery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den, guest check in and out and the servicing of the meeting rooms. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field
• Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be 18 years or older
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
• Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
