The Guest Service Agent provides excellent guest service, efficient registration, and billing in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests professionally
• Listening and responding to guest requests promptly
• Checking guests in and out accurately
• Answering phones professionally
• Making reservations via phone and in person
• Running daily reservation reports and managing special requests
• Handling cash float and balancing cash drawer
• Anticipating guest needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Following fire and emergency procedures for guest safety

Requirements:

• Experience in guest services, knowledge of Springfield area
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage workload
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hotel industry preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; OPERA experience beneficial
• Calm, clear thinker with good judgment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend work required

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing and walking
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs
• Pass a job-specific physical exam prior to employment
