Job summary

Dynamic Group Management is actively seeking a select service General Manager for a hotel in the Chattanooga area. The GM will oversee daily operations, manage staff and budgets, and drive service standards for Marriott/IHG properties.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and extensive hotel industry knowledge to ensure profitability and compliance while maintaining high guest satisfaction. Experience with Marriott or IHG properties is a must, along with a hospitality management

Qualifications

• Previous Marriott or IHG property experience required.
• Degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Knowledge of Salesforce/Delphi or other CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of financial platforms such as M3, Paycor, and IBuy.
• Proficient in Google Workspace applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Prioritize guest experiences by addressing concerns and maintaining service standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, track revenue, analyze financial performance, and identify profitability opportunities.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop front desk staff for selling techniques and promotions.
• Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgetary expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Manage staff to ensure efficiency and high levels of customer service.
• Monitor industry trends and implement best practices.
• Provide market analysis and forecasts to the Revenue Management Department.
