Job summary

RAM Hotels in Auburn, AL is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of property operations, drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development in line with brand standards and company policies.

You will lead hiring, training, and discipline, develop sales strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR, and ensure safety and cleanliness while delivering consistent, quality service across all departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or similar required.
• Hotel operations experience with knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to hotels preferred.
• Certified Hospitality Administrator designation is a plus.
• Presentation/Facilitation Skills preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills essential.
• Experience in hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day hotel operations and supervise staff in accordance with policy.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Set performance expectations and ensure cross-departmental communication.
• Maintain service quality and address guest/employee complaints with resolutions.
• Develop financial objectives and prepare reports for leadership.
• Lead sales efforts to increase occupancy and ADR and support community events.
