Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our hotel operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will steer a multi-department team, manage financial performance, and uphold Marriott standards to maximize revenue and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related business field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage functions.
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to lead team at leadership and hourly level.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage a 24-hour, 7-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Promote guest service culture and maintain positive guest relations.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate programs and incentives to improve guest service.
• Lead the Executive Committee to achieve property goals.
• Develop and assure achievement of hotel revenues and profits (forecasting, P&L, RevPAR).
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold brand standards.
• Coach and develop leaders to exceed performance.
