Job summary

Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead daily operations and drive guest satisfaction at our Harrisonburg property.

You will recruit, train, and mentor a 6-12 person team while ensuring top standards of service and cleanliness. Responsibilities include budgeting, labor and occupancy control, local marketing, and strong collaboration with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years as Hotel General Manager.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management.
• Strong leadership and team development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work a changing schedule.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a 6-12 member team; provide hands-on guidance.
• Maintain guest readiness and address guest concerns.
• Manage budgets, labor, occupancy and P&L.
• Lead sales and local marketing to increase occupancy.
• Assist housekeeping and laundry as needed; cover shifts.
• Follow emergency procedures and ensure security.
• Other duties as assigned.
