Job summary

StepStone Hospitality in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a General Manager for the TownePlace Suites Hotel. You will lead hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, optimize revenue, and report to the Senior Vice President of Operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years GM experience in a branded hotel (Marriott preferred), familiarity with third-party management, and a track record of building teams, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hotel General Manager experience in a branded environment (Marriott preferred).
• GM experience with a 3rd party management company preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive GSS scores and TripAdvisor ranking.
• Maintain transparency and strong owner/asset relationships; manage scrutiny from multiple parties.
• Analyze revenue trends and contribute to revenue management strategies.
• Build revenue and NOI improvements across the property.
• Lead renovations and concept changes to elevate service culture.
• Control costs while balancing topline revenue objectives and service levels.
• Motivate employees and develop talent through leadership.
• Hands-on, data-driven leadership with communication strengths.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or related field
