Job summary

Janko Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Peru in Illinois. You will oversee daily hotel operations, revenue and profitability management, guest satisfaction, safety and security, and lead a diverse team to meet brand standards.

The position requires flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays, on-call support, and effective collaboration with departments to maximize occupancy and average daily rate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years general manager experience preferred, or equivalent hotel management experience.
• Previous hotel brand experience and management skills strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct management and support to achieve hotel-level success.
• Oversee revenue management, pricing and group bookings with Sales.
• Manage hotel budgets, financial statements, and the annual hotel plan.
• Ensure compliance with franchise standards and local regulations.
• Lead HR, payroll, staff development, and on-call coverage.
