Job summary

E.M.A. Hospitality is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, driving revenue and profit while ensuring guest and staff satisfaction. You will lead, train and support staff, maintain quality standards, and manage budgets, staffing, and purchasing policies.

The role requires 2–5 years in hotel management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of hotel property management systems and cost controls. Illinois location is on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is a plus or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in hotel management roles, experience as General Manager preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting and leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily hotel operations to meet revenue and profit goals while upholding guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance and asset protection.
• Provide leadership, training, direction and support to hotel staff and maintain a high quality product.
• Lead revenue management activities, forecasting, budgeting and cost control; adjust labor and expenses to meet monthly targets.
