Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee hotel operations in the absence of senior management. You will manage front office operations to deliver exceptional service and coordinate with department managers to ensure smooth functioning.

Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching and supporting associates, supervising night audit, maintaining front office systems, handling customer complaints, and stepping in during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of front office operations and intermediate knowledge of overall hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform to brand standards.
• Manage front office operations to deliver optimal service and hospitality.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure hotel-wide smooth operation.
• Resolve customer complaints and anticipate problems by reviewing performance and issues.
• Monitor and maintain front office systems and equipment for peak performance.
• Supervise night audit functions and perform audits in the absence of the night auditor.
• Be aware of emergency procedures and assume responsibility in emergencies.
• Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA standards.
• Fill in across departments as needed and perform other duties as requested.
