Job summary

Gray Wolf Inn & Suites in West Yellowstone, MT, seeks a seasonal Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure outstanding guest service. You’ll supervise daily operations, train associates, and uphold hotel standards while coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.

Two years of hospitality front desk experience and prior supervisory exposure are preferred. English fluency is required; college degree is not.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hospitality with front desk experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency; knowledge of PMS preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• No college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise front desk team; evaluate performance and rewards.
• Guide team on difficult problems or resolving escalated guest complaints.
• Implement policies, procedures, and service standards with management.
• Prepare and issue work schedules and duty assignments for the front desk team.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.

• Train and supervise the front desk team members to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; evaluate team member job performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions
• Provide team members with guidance on handling difficult problems or in resolving escalated guest complaints
• Implement policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management
• Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative team members
• Coordinate with housekeeping department

More about you

• At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality, front desk experience is preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Computer literate in MS Office programs; some experience with property management systems preferred
• Must be fluent in English language both spoken and written
• No college degree required
