Job summary

Holiday Inn Express in Anchorage is seeking a night auditor who combines people skills with sharp arithmetic and a passion for guest service. The role includes front desk duties, financial audits, and producing daily reports to support hotel leadership.

The position offers an overnight shift with flexible hours and a starting pay of 19.50 per hour. Candidates should be computer proficient, with accounting or reservation software experience valued; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired
• Overnight shift; requires flexible hours
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required

Responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management
