Holiday Inn Express & Candlewood - Anchorage is seeking a night auditor who enjoys working with numbers and delivering exceptional guest service. This role handles financial reconciliations and front desk duties while supporting a friendly hospitality team.

You will audit room charges, process reservations, and help prepare daily reports for management. The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication to ensure smooth night operations.

Qualifications

• Must be computer proficient.
• Hospitality industry experience is preferred, but not required.
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired.
• Overnight shift; requires flexible hours.
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records including room charges, cash drawer activity, and credit card transactions.
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures as required.
• Ensure guests have an exceptional experience at the property.
• Execute front desk clerk duties such as reservations, check-ins, delegating housekeeping and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed.
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management.

• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management

Qualifications

• Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired

Compensation: 19.50 hourly
