Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Guest Service Agent in New York, NY to support front desk operations. You will greet guests, check them in and out, handle payments, and maintain accurate records using the hotel PMS.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills and offers flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. Experience at a hotel front desk is preferred; proficiency in MS Office and property management systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodation.
• Keep accurate records of room availability and guest accounts in PMS.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and balance cash accounts.
• Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell staff.
• Review accounts and charges with guests at check-out.
• Post charges for rooms, food, and services to ledgers.
• Transmit and receive guest messages via telephone or switchboard.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address issues.
• Make and confirm reservations for guests.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
