Sonesta International Hotels seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and answer inquiries with a positive attitude.

The role requires at least 1 year of front desk or guest service experience, excellent English communication, and strong computer skills to operate PMS and reservation systems. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some hospitality training preferred.
• 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hotel or similar.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out guests promptly and professionally.
• Process payments accurately (cash, credit cards, deposits) and manage cash bank.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and requests.
• Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades when possible.
• Respond to guest complaints with prompt service recovery.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Assist with concierge services and other front desk duties.
