Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent for a part-time role. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of hotel front desk or customer service experience, plus excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Some college or hospitality training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some hospitality training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out hotel guests promptly and professionally.
• Process payments including cash, cards, and deposits following procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and requests with service mindset.
• Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades when possible.
• Resolve guest concerns using service recovery strategies; coordinate with other departments.
