Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the hotel's general ledger operations and support the Director of Finance. You will manage the accounting department in line with Hyatt standards, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and strong cost controls.

You will supervise GL activities, prepare journal vouchers and month-end closings, and participate in monthly reviews and audit processes while mentoring accounting staff to uphold Hyatt service excellence.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive Accounting experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Experience supervising Accounting staff.
• Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the hotel's general ledger operations and supporting the Director of Finance.
• Prepare and review journal vouchers, month-end reports and reconciliations.
• Review preliminary financial statements with the Director of Finance.
• Participate in monthly financial reviews and assist with presentations.
