Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a dedicated accounting professional to oversee the hotel's general ledger operations and support the Director of Finance. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management in line with Hyatt standards.

The role requires supervising accounting staff, ensuring accuracy of monthly closings, and contributing to SOX compliance, audits, and cost controls while delivering meaningful guest and owner experiences.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred.
• 2+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Prior MICROS, ADP/Enterprise, TimeSaver, and Hyatt systems (Opera and PMS) expertise desired.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel's general ledger operations and support the Director of Finance.
• Prepare and review journal vouchers, month-end reports and reconciliations.
• Review preliminary financial statements with the Director of Finance.
• Participate in monthly financial reviews and assist with report presentations.
• Supervise IT functions and coach associates to Hyatt standards.
