Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality is seeking a Hotel General Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer and ensure smooth hotel operations in Florida. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, pool maintenance, painting, and safety tasks, delivering high-quality work with minimal guest disruption.

With at least three years in maintenance, you will communicate effectively with engineers and supervisors, follow safety protocols, and help protect assets and guests while upholding

Qualifications

• 3 years’ minimum experience in a maintenance-type position.
• Experience in basic construction trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, basic heating and air conditioning, swimming pool maintenance, painting, caulking.
• Ability to repair and replace basic heating and air conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance methods and techniques for maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and monitor the interior and exterior operations of the property.
• Follow established guidelines to protect assets, associates, and guests.
• Promote guest satisfaction by offering professional and friendly interactions.
• Perform a variety of maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Interact with employees and guests, communicating clearly with management and supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols when using tools and equipment and store them properly.
