Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality is seeking a Hotel General Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer in keeping the property safe and functional. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance, painting, caulking, and basic carpentry to minimize guest disruption.

Reporting to the General Manager and Chief Engineer, you will draw on hands-on trade experience and strong communication to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and systems across the property in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a maintenance-type role.
Ability to communicate operational activities with management engineers and supervisors.
Knowledge of common equipment malfunctions and basic repair methods.
Able to repair and replace basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
Experience with painting, caulking, and carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs across hotel systems.
Repair and replace basic heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical components.
Paint, caulk, and perform carpentry tasks as needed to maintain aesthetics and safety.
Monitor interior and exterior property areas and report issues.
Follow safety protocols and organize tools and storage.
