Job summary

Westin Baltimore at BWI Airport is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep building systems and the building envelope safe for guests, associates, and vendors. You will perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders, and help maintain energy efficiency while following SOPs and company values.

Qualifications include vocational schooling or military training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, plus the ability to lift 25–50 lbs and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry experience required.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building related systems and the building envelope to ensure safety for guests, associates and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel product quality.
• Service pool and other hotel equipment; perform minor repairs and replacements as needed.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures and assist with move/relocation of items.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and assist with routine cleaning and upkeep.
