Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality seeks an experienced maintenance leader to oversee the hotel’s engineering operations. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, directing a team to ensure safety, reliability, and guest comfort.

You will develop preventive maintenance, coordinate capital projects, and optimize vendor relationships while maintaining budgetary controls and staffing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a dynamic environment.
• Extensive knowledge of elevator operations and inspections.
• Proficient with technology systems (TV, internet, phone).
• Ability to work cohesively with coworkers and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all engineering and maintenance efforts.
• Develop, coordinate and monitor PM programs for guest rooms and public spaces.
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance programs and major equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Establish and manage vendor relationships for quality and warranties.
• Manage emergency evacuation plans and life-safety testing.
• Coordinate training for new hires and staff development.
• Create annual Capex and operating budgets.
• Review staffing and scheduling to meet guest service and financial goals.
