Qualifications

• High school diploma and trade school experience preferred.
• 4+ years hotel maintenance/engineering with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Certifications in High-rise Fire Safety, CFC, and chemical testing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain accurate readings and logs.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and maintain all pumps, boilers, motors, chillers, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, lighting, and hotel appliances.
• Paint surfaces, perform minor wall repairs, and light furniture touch-ups.
• Lead staff through evaluations, meetings, and training on technical and safety systems.
• Maintain open relationship with People & Culture and manage parts inventory.
• Keep accurate logs of equipment tests, fire safety systems, and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure professional contacts with project contractors and salesmen per standard.
